Welcome team to the new normal. 

As a country and community, we can pat ourselves on the back for a job well done on keeping COVID-19 at bay. I am sure we haven’t seen the last of it, but the last 75 days have given us an insight and ideas how best to handle it the next time round.

You will be all back at work, releasing a few restraints that were in place to meet the requirements of Level 3 and 2. It is with a lot of enjoyment from your staff that they don’t have to follow the rigorous tasks anymore.

You do, however, need to continue to hold onto the information you collected over the recent periods for 60 days. I will send out a news item on the 8th of August as a reminder to destroy the information collected. A BIG reminder DO NOT USE the information collected for marketing! 

Make sure that you take down all the COVID information, I think you will find people will be more than happy to not be greeted by yellow diagonal stripes and marks on the concrete.

DO keep everyone safe by keeping up the cleaning processes you have adopted and provide sanitiser, as necessary.

Next comes getting the revenue coming back in. We are keen to hear from you if you have ideas around this and ways HIANZ can assist.

My eye is on lifting Silvercard training and Party/Events equipment. More to come on this in the near future.
