Following the resignation of our CEO, The HIANZ board, along with the assistance of the EWPA, undertook a comprehensive recruitment process and are pleased to announce the appointment of Kieran White as the new Chief Executive Officer.

Originally from New Plymouth, Kieran brings over 25 years of hire industry experience and nine years with a global forklift OEM. His career includes roles with Cockburn Hire, two decades with Coates Hire across Australia, Indonesia, and the UK, and serving as Managing Director for Crown Forklifts NZ after returning to New Zealand in 2017.

Kieran looks forward to supporting our members, promoting the hire industry, and working closely with the Boards. He looks forward to meeting members across Aotearoa throughout 2026.

Kieran will go through a transition period over the next 3 weeks and will officially start on the 12th of January 2026.
