Electrical Testing Course – Napier

September 10 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

$295.00

Electrical Testing Course ( AS/NZS 3760:2010)

Our portable appliance safety course has been specially developed for industries in the hire, construction and service market sectors. The course philosophy is to enable companies to make sensible and cost-effective compliance choices around portable equipment safety.

Having your own staff capable of portable electrical appliance testing makes good business sense. This in-house competency ensures greater control over:

  • Plant availability
  • Employee and contractor safety
  • Compliance costs

This course gives you or your staff the training to undertake testing of Portable Electrical Appliances. The training package is designed to meet the general requirements for competency as defined in the AS/NZS 3760:2010 Standard. The course covers more than these basic requirements; participants are taken through a visual and hands-on learning experience to develop the skills necessary to assess and test portable electrical equipment for operational safety.

With Worksafe NZ prescribing for the greater use of Residual Current Devices (RCD’s) our course also covers the use, operation and proper testing of these devices.

A detailed course support book is provided to help participants with an understanding of the testing processes and as a resource post-course.

We look forward to having you join us on this course.

Cost – $295.00 plus GST per person.
