HIRECON25 in Christchurch was a vibrant one evening and one day event that combined celebration, learning, and connection across the hire industry. Opening with a fun Day of the Dead themed Party Night, delegates embraced the festivities before moving into a full Conference Day at Haere-roa Event Centre the next morning.

Attendance exceeded expectations, with sessions featuring inspiring speakers including Steve Gurney, Logan Wedgwood, Nigel Swavley, and Aileen Hiskins, alongside an engaging panel of industry leaders.

The first Young Professionals cohort was recognised, with Thalia Evans named Young Professional of the Year and Rachel Cowley receiving Most Improved. We wish Thalia, Rachel and all the mentees congratulations on completing this years Young Professional Program.

Baytex was voted Exhibitor of the Year, and Claire Griffiths from Event Hire CHB won the Air New Zealand Mystery Break valued at $1700.
