HIRECON26 at Auckland’s Viaduct Events Centre brought together hire industry professionals from across New Zealand for three days of learning, networking, celebration, and connection.

The event opened on Monday with the Party and Events Sector Meeting, followed by the EWPA AGM and Access Meeting. That evening, welcome drinks were enjoyed at The Fox, sponsored by Skyjack.

Tuesday started with the HIANZ AGM, followed by a full day of conference sessions featuring great speakers and a busy exhibition floor. Thanks to our Conference Sponsor, ICIB Brokerweb, for their support. Over the following two days, delegates enjoyed valuable networking opportunities, a busy exhibition floor, and a conference programme featuring a diverse range of speakers covering leadership, business performance, technology, industry trends, health and safety, and personal development.

The day kept delegates and exhibitors fuelled with coffee carts sponsored by MCS Rental Software and Snorkel NZ.

In the afternoon, Happy Hour, sponsored by JLG, provided an opportunity for networking on the exhibition floor among the innovative exhibitor sites.

This was followed by a fun Party Night Networking Event that saw members, suppliers, exhibitors, and guests embrace the theme and reconnect with industry colleagues from around the country. Thanks to our Party Night Sponsor, Access Specialties, it was an evening enjoyed by all.

HIRECON26 also celebrated the achievements of our industry. Graduates of the Young Professionals Programme were recognised for their commitment and development throughout the year, while outstanding contributions to the hire industry were acknowledged through the Hire Industry Excellence Awards, held on the exhibition floor on Wednesday afternoon, hosted by comedian Tony Lyall.
