Shaun Cameron is the Managing Director of Hire Works Ltd, an independent equipment hire business operating across the Upper North Island and Hawke’s Bay. He has been part of the hire industry for the past 11 years. Prior to joining the hire industry, Shaun worked in the oil and gas sector, where he developed a strong appreciation for safety, teamwork and hard work.
What Shaun values most about the hire industry is its people. Throughout his career, he has built strong relationships with customers, suppliers and fellow hire professionals, and has always admired the willingness of people within the industry to share knowledge, support one another and work together for the benefit of the sector.
As a newly elected HIANZ Board Member, Shaun brings a practical, collaborative approach and a genuine passion for the industry. He enjoys listening to different perspectives, working with others to find solutions, and contributing to initiatives that strengthen the hire sector. Shaun is committed to ensuring HIANZ remains a strong voice for its members, continues to promote high industry standards, and supports the long-term growth and success of the New Zealand hire industry.
