Why members should only support EWP Silvercard

The Hire Industry Association of New Zealand (HIANZ) developed the EWP Silvercard almost 20 years ago providing first class training, awareness and education in the safe use of EWP’s throughout NewZealand. Our Silvercard has earned a solid reputation which is instantly recognised nationally across various industry sectors.

Our trainers are industry professionals with extensive EWP knowledge and experience. Most have worked within the Hire Industry or EWP service sector and are familiar with industry trends, innovation and compliance requirements. They are all approved Assessors with the Skills Organisation who manage the reporting of all Unit Standards to NZQA (New Zealand Qualifications Authority) for all participants that successfully complete the courses.

The Silvercard programme provides an important revenue stream for the Hire Industry Association which supports the ongoing development of member benefits and Industry initiatives.

There are several companies that provide EWP Silvercard Courses throughout New Zealand. Some are existing Hire Companies and others are Independent Contractors. We encourage members to support and promote the Silvercard Programme, by selecting an appropriate trainer who can be referred to your customers and used in-house for your staff training requirements.

Trainers are located throughout New Zealand delivering courses on all types of EWP’s. Ourcomprehensive courses combine theory and practical training with valuable one on one time to ensure a successful outcome.

Visit www.silvercard.nz for further information and to search for a Trainer in your area.

Please support your Industry Association by choosing only EWP Silvercard.

Any member companies who wish to explore the options and benefits of becoming an approved EWP Silvercard Trainer should contact the association.
