Welcome to the HIANZ Young Professionals Development Program
The HIANZ Young Professionals Program was created to encourage and support the career development of the future leaders of the hire industry.
This program focuses on developing both personal and professional skills to help participants build successful careers within the hire industry.
Mentees are paired with mentors and guided through facilitated sessions focusing on the Young Professionals Program Development Modules.
The program, facilitated by Strategic Alignment Training, offers an extensive experience through monthly online workshops.
The programme helps mentees develop goal-setting skills, effective habits, business acumen, self-awareness, personal branding, presentation skills, and an understanding of technology and innovation.
Celebrating Young Professionals at HIRECON26
Our cohort for the 2025/26 Young Professionals Development Program came together at HIRECON26, pictured above with Emily Coffey (HIANZ Board Director/Hirepool) we have Zac Blackley from Marquee Hire Whangarei, Nate Tuia from Kennards Hire, Brent Criglington from Silk Estate, Aaron Marshall from HireWorks, Daniel Ross from Waihi Hire, Gurdeep Singh from Kennards Hire, Jessica Cramb from United Rentals and Vincent Courtney from United Rentals, with Kylene Schlebusch (HIANZ).

- Young Professional of the Year: Brent Criglington

This year’s program ran from November 2025 and completed in June 2026, culminating in the Young Professionals Awards at HIRECON26 on 29 July.
