Hire Excellence Awards 2024
The long running Hire Excellence awards have always been held in the highest of regard and are a great accolade from your industry peers to show you operate your business at the highest level. We want to recognise and celebrate the greatness of our industry and the people involved. You are all doing great stuff, so why not be recognised for it.
Meet some of our Award Winners from 2022
Shelley and Greg Mason from Festival Hire, winners of the Party and Events Company of the Year 2022, have some top tips on what to do when entering the Hire Excellence Awards. They also speak about the benefits of winning, the increased their business and they received recognition from local businesses, social media and customers.
Christine Potter from Kiwi Hire Group, winners of Hire Company of the Year 2022, involved all of their staff in the process. Winning sparked great job satisfaction from the team and ignited what it means for them to be working in Hire.
Hire Company of the Year Award
The Hire Company of the year awards, will cover the following categories:
- General Hire Company of the Year up to $2.5mil turnover.
- General Hire Company of the Year over $2.501mil turnover. (All large Hire companies are in this category)
- Party and Events Hire Company of the Year.
Merit Awards
You may apply to be judged on any of the merit awards. You may feel you do something really well in your business that matches one of the merit awards. This gives you the opportunity to be rewarded for that one thing. You may enter as many merit awards as you wish.
Merit awards are:
- Health and Safety Award
- Company Image Award
- Most Improved/Progressive Company Award
- Emerging Leader Award
- Financial and Business Award
- Innovation and Technology Award
- People and Culture Award
- Training and Development Award
Special Awards
Outside of the above awards, there will be three special awards that are measured separately to the Hire Excellence awards. These are:
- Silvercard Trainer/Assessor of Year Award
Supplier Exhibitor of the Year Award - Hire Product of the Year Award
Timeline
- Monday 15 April 2024 – Hire Excellence Awards entries open.
- Friday 24 May 2024 – Hire Excellence Entries close.
- Early June 2024 – Judging.
- Wednesday 24 July 2024 – The Hire Excellence Awards dinner takes place at the Viaduct Event Centre, Auckland, register for Conference to attend.
