Meet the Mentors

This is the official commencement of the 2025/26 Young Professionals Development Program. From the very first step, we want to ensure not only our Mentees, but also our Mentors, have a clear view of the journey ahead.

Participants explore the GROW model and SMART goal method to practically set, monitor, and achieve goals within the Development Program and beyond.

The Business Acumen workshop helps participants understand the key drivers of how businesses run, strategy, profitability, and growth, through real-world insights shared by our Mentors.

Learning Agility - Self Awareness

This workshop explores learning agility, the ability to learn, adapt, unlearn, and relearn, while covering key areas like self-awareness, work values, resilience, stress management, assertiveness, and self-confidence.

MID PROGRAM REVIEW

Separate Mentee and Mentor Sessions

This interactive, informal discussion gives Mentees a chance to reflect on their experience so far, share progress and challenges, and work with the Program Facilitator to identify what’s working and where adjustments may be needed.

Learning Agility - Personal Brand

In this interactive, informal session, Mentees will reflect on their journey so far and explore their personal brand, identifying their strengths, values, and what sets them apart to create impact within their team and with customers.

This interactive workshop helps Young Professionals build confidence in public speaking and presentation, with practical techniques to engage audiences, structure messages, and deliver with impact to enhance their presence and personal brand.

The Technology and Innovation workshop explores current and emerging trends shaping the way we work today, and how they might transform our work over the next five years.

The HIANZ Equipment Safety Data Sheets (ESDS) are designed as practical guidelines to support safety across the hire industry. Developed specifically for our members, these sheets are intended to be shared with clients at the time of hire to promote safe and informed equipment use.
